CU Forward

CU Forward Day is a day of service for Credit Unions around the country—a way to demonstrate how we serve our communities, as well as our members!

This year, we’ve chosen Northwood Children’s Services for this year’s non-profit. Northwoods provides holistic and professional care, education, and treatment for children with severe emotional, behavioral, and learning disabilities. They offer various services such as: outpatient treatment, intensive day treatments, school-based services, and even a Crisis Stabilization Program. That program provides short-term placement and crisis stabilization for youth that are experiencing a mental health crisis whose needs cannot be met in their home or a less restrictive setting.

Some of the items they’re currently looking for include recreational items (soccer balls, kickballs, helmets, bikes, puzzles, board games, craft kits, journals, etc.) and books for readers at all levels. There is also an Amazon Wishlist here. We will be accepting cash and item donations for Northwoods from October 11 until October 17.
