MPECU honored CU Kind Day with a blanket donation to the Northland’s Ronald McDonald House!
CU Kind Day (previously CU Forward Day) is celebrated each year in October as a way for Credit Unions nationwide to put their People Helping People philosophy in action. MPECU employees made 20 fleece tie blankets to donate to the Ronald McDonald House in Duluth. The beautiful five-bedroom facility has given families with seriously ill and injured children a place to relax and regroup, just steps away from Essentia Health’s Duluth campus. Like their four Twin Cities locations, RMH Northland offers a caring and comfortable home-away-from-home to families navigating a child’s health crisis.
Whether it’s through volunteer projects like these or other acts of service, MPECU is proud to serve our neighbors beyond traditional financial services!
