At MPECU, we offer you the option of loan add-ons such as:
- Debt Protection-Debt Protection which may cancel your loan balance or payment up to the contract maximums in case of Involuntary Unemployment, Disability, or Death
- Life Plus-Life Plus can extend your Debt Protection to address a wide range of cirumstances such as Accidental Dismemberment, Terminal Illness, Hospitalization or Family Medical Leave, or Death of a non-protected dependent.
Through partner programs, we are also able to offer GAP Coverage and Extended Warranty. Should you total your vehicle, GAP coverage would pay the “gap” between the insurance payoff and the remaining loan balance. GAP is beneficial if you don’t have a larger down payment on your vehicle purchase or if you’re concerned about rapid depreciation.
Extended Warranty protects your vehicle from mechanical breakdowns beyond your existing manufacturer’s warranty. This covers components and labor for the contract period.
